Services for Phillip will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow.
Phillip was born in Chickasha, OK to Alvah "Al" and Shirley (Smith) Welch. He earned a Bachelor degree from the Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts in Chickasha and later owned his own accounting firm, Phillip Welch, CPA. In his younger and healthy years, he loved playing golf. He will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor and love of family time in Chickasha.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Welch; wife, Vanda Welch; son, Aaron Welch; daughter, Elizabeth Wright and husband Clint; daughter, Dana Kilmer and husband Travis; four grandchildren, Skylar, Max, Brady and Jake; two brothers, David Welch and wife Lisa and Kent Welch and wife Helen; sister, Denise Wallace and husband Alan as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Al and brother, Alan Welch.
Those wishing to honor Phillip may do so by enjoying a Blue Bell Orange Dream bar (a favorite treat) and remembering a fond memory. Services entrusted to the care of Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
