Valerie Lane Trumbly, 61, of Bridge Creek, died Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at her home. The daughter of William Herman Humphries and Wanda Raye (Earnhart) Humphries, she was born April 7, 1955 in Oklahoma City.
Valerie married Raymond Eugene Trumbly on September 19, 1974 in Tuttle. She worked for many years as a Veterinary Technician and was a Baptist in faith. Valerie had a great love for animals, especially dogs and horses. In her earlier years, she enjoyed horseback riding and barrel racing. Valerie was a member of the Oklahoma City Obedience Dog Training Club and spent countless hours training dogs. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Debra Humphries.
Valerie is survived by her husband, Raymond Trumbly, of Bridge Creek; two sons, Dr. Alan Trumbly and his wife, Elisa, of Dallas, Texas and Brian Trumbly of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her adopted daughter, Stacey Stovall of Bethel Acres; four grandchildren, Claire, Catherine, Caden, and Carys, all of Dallas, Texas; and one brother, Gary Humphries and his wife, Wanda, of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.
A private family memorial service and interment of her cremated remains will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
