Jimmy "Jim" Neil Payne, age 79 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jim was born November 30, 1936 on the family farm near Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was one of eight children born to Luther and Clotilde Lee (Kyle) Payne. He passed away April 26, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Jim graduated from Gene Autry High School. He married Mona Marie Marvel on March 8, 1957 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He began his career in road constructions in 1957. Jim worked for Cummins Construction from 1967-1988, retiring as Vice President. Jim was in the Oklahoma National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with family at Lake Tenkiller. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
Survivors include his wife Mona of the home in Oklahoma City; his children Esther Bouziden and husband Mark of Enid and Eric Payne and wife Elizabeth of Sealy, TX; 5 grandchildren, Chris Bouziden and wife Callie, Heather Bruning and husband Mark, Erica Payne, Everett Payne and Ethan Payne. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, Carter, Caitlin and Claire Bouziden, 1 sister and 4 brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and an infant daughter Melissa.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home in Guthrie.
