Ava Morgan Floyd, 83, died June 14, 2016 in OKC. She was born June 4, 1933 in Stuart, OK to Quintin and DeLora (Simmons) Morgan.
A homemaker, she also worked as a bookkeeper for General Heating and Air Conditioning. She retired after 14 years with Pioneer Telephone Co. Ava loved her family, enjoyed being outdoors, listening to music, and horses.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert William Floyd, with whom she shared 50 joyful years; and her five siblings. She is survived by her sons, William M. Floyd and wife Rose, Robert Floyd and wife Songli, and Fre Floyd; daughter, Susan Nevolas and husband Ted; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, June 18, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
