Billye Ray Douglas, 85, of OKC, passed away February 26, 2015 at Legend at Council Road Nursing Home. Billye was raised in Lacy, OK and moved to OKC after high school. She moved to Norman in 1981 where she became a member of the Goodrich United Methodist Church. Billye married Charles Kelly Douglas of Hennessey on November 4, 1992. Mr. Douglas passed away March 13, 2014.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol A. McDermott and son-in-law Terrance McDermott of Yukon; grandchildren, Angela Trail of Kaufman, TX, Patrick McDermott of Harlingen, TX and Gloria Jackson of Yukon, OK; great- grandchildren, Bryan Trail of Columbus, OH, Brandon and Andrew Trail of Kaufman, TX, Caitlin and Erlina McDermott of Harlingen, TX and Elizabeth and David Jackson of Yukon, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Wilma (Choate) McMeekan and grandson, Christopher McDermott.
Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-9pm, with family present from 4-6pm at Mercer-Adams, Bethany. Services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, March 2, 2015 at New Hope United Methodist Church, 11600 N. Council Rd, OKC, with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on NW Expressway.
