BRISCOE Velma Lee, 81, passed away Oct. 22, 2000. She was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Greenville, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany 1st Church of the Nazarene.
Mrs. Briscoe is survived by her husband, John C. Briscoe; daughter, Sue Clavin & husband, Vern, Norman, OK; sons, John Briscoe & wife, Ruth, Canadian, OK, and Jim Briscoe & wife, Deanna, Garfield, AR; brothers, Prof. Lawrence Snell & wife, Gladys, Bethany, OK, and Rev Howard Snell & wife, Evon, Enid, OK; grandchildren: Debi Shaw, Tami Clavin, Wes Briscoe, Dawna Briscoe-Land, Jana Belcher, David Briscoe, and Jennifer Long; and 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, at Bethany 1st Church of the Nazarene, with interment at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
