Carla Jo Cheatwood was born on January 17, 1965, in Phoenix, Arizona, and departed this life on Monday, June 30, 2008, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 43.

Carla, the daughter of Charles David and Hester Yvonne Dayberry Waldrep, and was a resident of Bristow, Oklahoma. She married Jack Alton Cheatwood on April 11, 1990 in Gilbert, Arizona. Carla was an early childhood educator with Tulsa Community College and was of the Protestant faith. She was preceded in death by one brother and one grandson.

Survivors include husband, Jack Cheatwood of the home; parents, Charles Waldrep of Muskogee, Hester Waldrep of Bristow; sons and daughter-in-law, Justin and Kassidy Waldrep of Bristow, Chesley Cheatwood of Bristow; daughter, Christina Cheatwood of Bristow; grandchildren, Bryce McGuire, Jayden Waldrep, Brenden McGuire; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steven and Mary Waldrep of Bristow, Charles and Cathy Waldrep of Kellyville, Robert and Desi Waldrep of Terre Haute, Indiana; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and David Wood of Sapulpa, Kim and Dennis Bachman of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM, at Burnett Mission in Paden with Pastor Gary Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Paden Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
