Minta Jean Coble was born October 19, 1932 in Okfuskee, Oklahoma to Arvel Greenlee and Audry Capehart.

She moved to Wasco, California as a child and attended Wasco High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Elvin Eugene Coble, son Larry Michael Coble, and her grandson Jason Richard Coble.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Sherry and Stan Underwood of Montana, Terry and Bobbie Coble of Bakersfield, Gary and Florence Coble of Highland, Jerry and Rebekah Coble of Bakersfield, and Perry Coble of the Starship Enterprise. She loved her sister Susie Calabrese and her grandchildren, Terry Coble Jr., Daniel Coble, and Aaron Coble, Mellissa Sneath, Shawn and Josh Surginer, Jesika Calabrese, and her great grandchildren.

Minta was admired and adored by all who knew her. She loved children and animals, mended broken hearts and broken wings, collected antiques and wayward souls, and opened her heart and her home to everyone she met.

Visitation 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. February 14, at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. February 15, Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel.
