Holahta Family Cemetery is located three miles West of Okemah on S.H. 56, then 1/4 mile North on East side of Country road, in Section 16, Township 11 North, Range 9 East. An interesting grave stone is that of ES-MI-LE, a Cival War soldier who was a member of Co. E 1 Kansas Indian Home Guard.
