Oma Evelyn Fisher was born Feb. 1, 1916 at Lead Hill, Ark.
She died Jan. 1, in Okemah, at age 70.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Fisher, of the home in Bearden.
Other survivors include two daughters, one son, three sisters, three brothers, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The surviving daughters are Lois Williamson, Henryetta; Wilma Taylor, of Seminole.
The surviving son is Gary Fisher, of Shawnee.
The surviving sisters are Beulah Graham, Hobbs, New Mex.; Gertrude Casey, of Bearden, Bonnie Johnson, of Sand Springs.
The surviving brothers include Alvin Deshields, of Colinga, Ca.; Clyde Deshields, of Tranquility, Cal; and Harold Deshields, of Sand Springs.
Mrs. Fisher was a retired employee of the Shawnee Medical Center, where she worked as a floor nurse for many years.
She and her husband were united in marriage Dec. 22, 1934 at Wewoka.
They have lived in the Bearden community since then.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Okemah, and was also a member of the Cromwell Citizen's Band Radio Club.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sat. at Calvary Baptist Church in Okemah, with the Rev. Allen Crabtree officiating.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Internment will be at the Okemah Highland Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Service.
