Mary Brooks Files

Mary Brooks Files of Davis died Dec. 10, 2001. She was 100.

She was born Sept. 20, 1901, in Cameron, Okla. She was a homemaker and a 39-year Yolo County resident. Her hobbies included gardening, quilting and canning fruits and vegetables for family members.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Rebecca Files of Esparto; her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, John and Linda Mora of Maxwell; two granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Wanda Jo Trotter of West Sacramento and Angelia Coy and James Urchison of Esparto; three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two great- great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Richard Edgar Files, and daughter, Mary Frances Mora.

Contributions may be made in her name to Yolo County Hospice at P.O. Box 1014, Davis, CA 95617.

Graveside services were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Cottonwood Cemetery in Madison.

Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
