Roselyn Ruth (Radley) Close

???? ~ August 31, 2022 | Age 104

Roselyn Ruth (Radley) Close passed away August 31, 2022, at 104 years of age.

She was born and raised in Joplin, Missouri, graduated high school class of 1936, and attended Joplin Business College.

Roselyn worked at Empire District Electric company until her marriage to Maxwell Close in 1939. One of her proudest accomplishments was her involvement in launching the hot lunch program for Carterville Elementary.

She was president of PTA and her PEO chapter. She was an excellent seamstress, china painter, and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.
