Hazel Loena (Barnes) Bryant

Hazel Loena (Barnes) Bryant
September 4, 1925 ~ May 31, 2017

Hazel enjoyed many things throughout her life; always faithful in going to church and she loved good gospel singing. She loved traveling to places like Branson and Eureka Springs enjoying the entertainment. She was a wonderful seamstress who sewed clothes for her family and sometimes professionally over the years. She wasn't afraid of hard work and during her early years she worked in places like Bear Brand Hosiery, Lazy-Boy, and Gates.

She did what was necessary to raise her family. She also loved gardening raising both vegetables and flowers and seemed to have a green thumb. She enjoyed her little dogs and from her living room chair, she loved watching the birds land on the feeders just outside the window. She was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and her family meant the world to her; always there for those who needed a helping hand. She loved the holidays and special family times with her children gathered around her. She was an amazing and loving Mother, wife, grandmother, and friend to all; she will be greatly missed.

She was survived by a loving family which includes her children Ronald Kelley and wife, Linda, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Linda Howard and husband, Steve, of Pryor, Oklahoma, Janice Eddlemon of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Robert Kelley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rita Sellers of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Alieca Whitener and husband, Jeff, of Chouteau, Oklahoma; her16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 9 great great- grandchildren.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice G. Bryant; her parents, Glover Barnes and Louetta (Azlin) Barnes; her daughter, Kathryn Eidson; her siblings Onie Barnes, Vernon Barnes, Ishmael Barnes, Ervin Barnes, Harold Barnes, Ivo Barnes, and Clessie Barnes; her grandsons Joseph Leonard Miller and Stephen Burroughs; and her great great-granddaughter Linda Kathryn Warren.
