Esther (Durham) Brown

???? ~ Oct. 27, 2007 | Age 89

A memorial reception for Esther Durham Brown, 89, will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the home of Kate Brown, 3700 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, Fla. Arrangements are by Craig Funeral Home, St. Augustine.

She died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Samantha Wilson Care Center, St. Augustine.

She was a native of Enid and attended Enid schools and was a descendant of Oklahoma pioneer families Durham and Collier. She worked for the Enid School District until 1970. She had lived in St. Augustine since 2003 and was formerly of Pioneer and Newark, Calif.

Surviving are one brother, George Durham of Bartlesville and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Brown Jr. and one son.

Memorials may be made to St. John's County Council on Aging Building Fund, 180 Marine St., St. Augustine, FL 32084.
