Carol Jean Stevens, 85, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, died Sunday, August 11, 2019.

Carol was born December 17, 1933 in Wann, Oklahoma, to parents Monroe and Maggie (West) Coy. She attended Wann and Oakdale Schools from 1st to 11th grade.
She married Lester Stevens on August 14, 1952 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Noxie, Oklahoma.
Carol worked for Butchers Grocery, Wann School Cafeteria, Joann Gallery, Gerald's Dress Shop and the Dewey Donut Shop, although she spent most of her life being a homemaker.
She loved going to her kids and grandchildren's activities whether it was sports or rodeos. She was known best for raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren.
Her children describe her as being the best mom in the whole world and was a wonderful homemaker.

Carol was preceded in death by her precious husband Lester; her parents; grandson Ralph Wayne White; great great grandchild Andrea; one sister Neoma Porter and daughter in law Amanda Donnell.

She is survived by children Lester Wayne Stevens and wife Angie of Bristow; daughter Phyllis Collins and husband Homer of Dewey; son Mike Stevens and wife Melody of Dewey; son Richard Stevens of Bowring and son Eddie Stevens and fiance Aimee of Copan; Daughter Jolene Stevens of the home and numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 16, 2019 at 10:00 am at Stumpff Funeral Home with Pastor Harrington of Ridin' for the Brand Church officiating.

Interment will follow at the Wann Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to The Journey Home.
