Leonard “Erick” Green, Sr., 55, of Nowata, Oklahoma, passed away October 30, 2017 at St. John's Medical Center.

Mr. Green was born May 19, 1962, in Nowata, Oklahoma, to Lewis L. Green and Rosie (Brown) Green.
He graduated from Lenapah High School and briefly attended Oklahoma State University. He served in the United States Army as an Infantryman on multiple tours of duty, including Germany, Iraq, and Operation Desert Storm. Following his military career, Mr. Green worked for the Oklahoma Union School as a bus driver and mechanic. Mr. Green was very active in his community, serving the SEK in Coffeyville to the NEO in the Nowata Area. He went from being a mechanic to a farmer, a farmer to a chef, and a chef to a cowboy.
Mr. Green enjoyed riding horses, bulls (in his prime), doing just about anything outdoors, playing and coaching basketball, hunting, fishing, cooking anything that moves, hiding 7-Up cakes on holidays, watching his Green Bay Packers and Oklahoma State Cowboys, & being an avid Dallas Cowboys hater. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family, children, and only grandchild!

Mr. Green is preceded in death by his father, Lewis L. Green, Sr. and oldest brother, Lewis Green, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Rosie E. Green; wife, Evarette M. Green; six children from this union, son, Ronald Davis; daughter, Shelby Davis; son, Leonard Erick Green, Jr.; daughter, Lunette Green; son, Fredrick Green; and son, Christopher Green. He has two sons from his relationship with Sammy Jo Majors, Braiden Green & Derick Green. He is also survived by his grandchild, Ayden Gene Miller, son of Lunette Green. Finally, he is also survived by his siblings, William Green, Luther Green, Cecil Green, Adelphia Penn, Inola Irene Austin, Louise Gillette. He is also survived by numerous other loved ones and friends.

The Leonard Erick Green, Sr. family thanks everyone for everything that has been done for us: food, flowers, prayers, and any and all contributions & condolences.
