The funeral for Arthur Charles Rupp, 81, of Perry, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church, Perry. The Rev. William Metz and Dan Thimell, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, southeast of Perry. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
 
He was born Dec. 13, 1926, in Sumner to Lee and Emillie Wierzba Rupp and died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at Perry Memorial Hospital.
 
He was a 1944 graduate of Sumner High School. He married Charlotte Bay Nov. 10, 1946, at Sumner. He farmed, was a cattle rancher and custom harvester and owned Bill’s Corner Trading Post several years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
 
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; two sons, John Rupp and Marvin Rupp, both of Perry; two daughters, Benita Beier of Perry and Barbara Rose of Middleburg, Fla.; one brother, Robert Rupp of Perry; three sisters, Irene Pagel, Alice Kopp and Evelyn Williams, all of Perry; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
 
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077, to Judith Karman Hospice or the charity of one’s choice.
