The funeral for Ellen F. Kingery, 69, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church of Billings, with the Revs. John Holdenread and Hank Ricketson officiating. Interment will be in Union Billings Cemetery under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born April 20, 1923 in Billings to Thelma and Quincy Holmes, and died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was postmaster at the Billings post office for 27 and one-half years before retiring in 1978. She was a member of First Christian Church, Billings.

She is survived by her husband, Martin Kingery; one daughter, Kay L. Davis of Cashion; one son, John C. Kingery of Fredonia, Kans.; two sisters, Anabel Askey of Houston, and Linda Bray of Del City; five grandsons, one granddaughter and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. The casket will be open from 8-10 a.m. at the church for friends.

Memorials may be made to Billings Ambulance or to St. Mary's Volunteer Auxiliary, respiratory therapy unit, with Ladusau-Evans administering the fund.
