ENID — The graveside service for Bonnie Jean Thompson, 81, of Perry, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, in Red Rock Cemetery. The Rev. Martin Foster will officiate. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Marland to William H. and Ola Williams Shultz and died Thursday, May 6, 2010, in Perry.

She was a graduate of Marland High School.

She married Eugene Carlton “Gene” Thompson April 15, 1948, in Marland. 

She was a member of First Christian Church, Paradise Cove at Lake Carl Blackwell and Marland Round Up Club. 

She worked at Ditch Witch for more than 10 years.

Surviving are three sons, Rick Thompson of Thomas, Carl Thompson of Meridian, Idaho, and Mark Thompson of Perry; one daughter, Sue Schmitz of Bartlesville; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and four sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077, to Perry PAW’s or First Christian Church.
