Kathleen “Babe” Frances O’Halloran was born February 28, 1928, in Racine, Wisconsin to Willie Frances Smith Sanford and Merton Sanford. Kathleen passed peacefully from this world August 22, 2020, and reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 47 years Robert Jo O’Halloran.

Kathleen moved many times in her childhood and finally settled in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Central High School and received her nursing degree from St Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Kathleen met the love of her live Robert “Bob” Jo O’Halloran and they were married in December 1950.  They had two children, Robert Michael O’Halloran and Kathleen (Hallie) Ann Croasdale.

Kathleen was active in the Altar Society at St John’s Catholic Parish in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and then at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Perry, Oklahoma.

Kathleen loved her grandchildren and loved spending time with them at the lake in the summer. She loved having her grandchildren’s friends coming to the lake. The more the merrier. She loved Sunday dinners with the family but most of all she loved the Catholic Church. Her faith in God and the Mother Mary was unending. She knew God would get her thru any obstacle that was thrown at her and there were many. She never lost faith and she carried her Catholic Rosary with her everywhere she went.


Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Robert Jo O’Halloran, her mother Frances Smith, and her father Merton Sanford.
 

Kathleen leaves behind her son Robert Michael O’Halloran and his wife Mary Pat of Parker, Colorado; and Kathleen “Hallie” Croasdale and her husband Rick of Edmond, Oklahoma.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Michael Allen O’Halloran of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Tamara Lynn Heskett and her husband Adam of Parker, Colorado, Patrick Neil O’Halloran of Frisco, Colorado, Clint Richard Croasdale and his wife Sarah of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Clay Robert Croasdale and his wife Heidi of Piedmont, Oklahoma; Catherine Amber Patterson and her husband Cole of Oklahoma City; and Colton Tyler Croasdale and his wife Kellen of Oklahoma City.

Kathleen was blessed with 11 great-grandchildren whom she adored.  Kaelyn O’Halloran, Joey Heskett, Sam Heskett, Braxton Patterson, Pierce Patterson, Cruz Patterson, Carter Croasdale, Cooper Croasdale, Clara Croasdale, Connor Croasdale and Kenna Croasdale.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Antony Hospital Behavioral Medicine.
