Zetta Gladys (Woods) Garrett passed from this life on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the age of 97 years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Perry, OK and a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Mount Carmel Cemetery North West of Perry.

The daughter of the late Jasper Woods and Sarah (Dillard) Woods, Zetta was born December 10, 1916 in Concord, North Dakota. On May 25, 1936, Zetta married Chauncey Garrett. They had three children, Maurice, Marion, and Dianna. Zetta worked from home raising her three children.

Zetta is survived by her three children Maurice Garrett and wife Juanell of Madill, OK, Marion Garrett and wife Vickie of Soper, OK, and Dianna Mitchell of Blackwell, OK; one brother Jimmy Woods and wife, Emma of Blackwell, OK; one sister Margaret Holt and husband, Jack of Pueblo, CO; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

Zetta is preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Sarah (Dillard) Woods; one brother; three sisters; and Chauncey Garrett.
