Robert C. Cargill, 66, of Perry, Okla., died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002,
in Oklahoma City.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Presbyterian Church of
Plainview with the Rev. Drew Travis, pastor, officiating. Burial will
be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mr. Cargill was born Jan. 12, 1935, in Plainview. He married Emma
Avants Sept. 3, 1956, in Plainview.
Survivors include his wife of Perry; a daughter, Patricia Lowe of
Perry; a son, Jerry Cargill of Phoenix; two brothers, Fred Cargill of
Plainview and Charles Cargill of Weatherford; three sisters, Elizabeth
Bench of Plainview and Gwen Sears and Geneva Phillips, both of
Clarendon; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
