Funeral To Be Saturday For Mrs. Henn
Mrs. Fern Henn, 87, 1220 Fir avenue, died at her home early Thursday. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Orlando United Methodist church. Rev. Ed Stanley, pastor. will officiate. Burial will be at Lawnview cemetery, north of Orlando, under direction of Parker-Brown
Funeral home.
An official investigation was made of the death after 2:35 a.m. Thursday under Oklahoma's medical examiner law. Dr. John Sayre, Noble county medical examiner, ruled the death due to natural causes. Mrs. Henn lived at the home with her son-in-Iaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Carl J. Cook, the past seven years.
A report filed by Tim David- son, city policeman, said Mrs. Henn had fallen out of bed earlier in the night. Sheriff Ron McG,ee and Dan Allen, assistant district attorney for Noble county, took part in the investigation along with the other officials.
Mrs. Henn was the daughter of Richard and Clara Johnson and was born at Orlando, Nov. 1, 1896. She and Henry Henn were married June 3, 1919, at Moundridge, Kan. Mrs. Henn had lived in the local area all her life. She was a member of the Orlando United Methodist church.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research roundation for heart research.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. J. C. I Joyce I Cook, of the home, survivors include one son, Richard Henn, Oklahoma City; one brother. Ramee Johnson, Orlando; three sisters, Pearl Henn, Perry: Elvyn Austin, Arvada, Colo.: and Joyce Shawbell, Tulsa: five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Henry Henn Funeral Set
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday for Henry Henn, 77,
route one, Orlando, who died at 4:05 p.m. Thursday at Perry Memorial hospital. Henn entered the hospital at
6 a.m. Thursday.
Rev. Orin Daniels, pastor, will officiate at services
at the United Methodist church in Orlando. Burial will be at Longview cemetery under direction of Parker Funeral
home of Perry.
Henn was born Aug. 20, 1898, in Orlando and attended Oak Point school. A live-long resident of the Orlando area, he was a farmer until retirement in 1970. He and the
former Fern Johnson were married June 3, 1919 at Moundridge, Kan. Henn was a member of the United Methodist church of Orlando. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Richard, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Mrs. C. J. (Joyce) Cook, Orlando; two brothers, W. F. Henn, Perry ; and Carl Henn, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Don Blake, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Gerbude Warner, Magnolia, Ark.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one step-grandson and a step-great-granddaughter.
