The funeral for Evelyn Marie Hay, 72, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Perry, will be 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at Lucien United Methodist Church. The Rev. C. M. Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.
She was born June 21, 1936, in Buffalo to Crawford and Lorene Wills and died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at Clare Bridge Assisted Living Center, Oklahoma City.
She graduated from Buffalo High School and Enid General Hospital School of Nursing. She married Morton Hay in August 1960. She was a member of Lucien United Methodist Church, serving as treasurer, and was active in Agape Circle of United Methodist Women. She also was a member of a home demonstration club and Wipple Ladies Aid.
Surviving are one son, Marcus Hay of Shady Shores, Texas; one daughter, Jarilyn Brauser of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Curtis Wills of Fort Supply and Max Wills of Seiling; one sister, Marcelle Aitken of Wichita, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Morton, she was preceded in death by one sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. Seventh Street, Perry, OK 73077, to Lucien United Methodist Church.
