Perry – The funeral for Loy "Poss" Haskins, 88, will be 2 PM Friday at the First Christian Church in Perry. The Rev. Lynn Scott will officiate.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown – Sisson Funeral Home.

He was born December 30, 1910, at Frederick to Ira and Mary Ingmire Haskins and died Monday, September 20, 1999, at Perry Memorial Hospital.

In March 1939, he married Thelma Pearl Brunson at Newkirk. He was a farmer and member of First Christian Church. He was active in FFA.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Sue Womack of Bethany and Mary Ann DiBlasio of Amelia Island, Florida; two sisters, Dell Eblers of Billings and Ruby Moore of Enid; three grandchildren; and four great – grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and one sister.
