Ralph James Graham

Deceased: Ralph J. Graham

Ralph James Graham, lifelong resident of Perry, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007 at the Fairfax Nursing Home. Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Grace Hill Cemetery with Rev. Roy Emmons and Rev. George Weston officiating. Services are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home.

Ralph was born in Perry on Feb. 10, 1922 to William Jesse Graham and Edith Jane (Black) Graham. He attended school in Perry. He served his country honorably from 1942 until the end of World War II in 1945 as a minesweeper.

He married Mary Louise Flesner on Jan. 18, 1946. He was active in helping build the Stillwater Mill in Stillwater and later went into the oilfields serving Lloyd Jones Well Service for 37 years, retiring in 1985 as a tool pusher.

Ralph is survived by: two brothers, Doug Graham, Perry, and George Graham, Fairfax; one sister, Sylvia Daugherty of Booneville, Ark.; five children, James Graham and wife, Darlene, of Fairfax, Steven Graham and wife, Paula, of Fairfax, Linda Thompson and husband, Larry, of Fairfax, Beverly Wright of Ralston and Joyce Psikal of Newkirk; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
