George Henry Graham

George Henry Graham, age 81, of Perry went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the Fairfax Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 13, 1926, to William Jesse and Edith Jane (Black) Graham in Perry, OK. A lifelong Perry resident, until moving to the Fairfax Nursing Home in August, 2007, George lived and farmed in the Perry area until retiring from farming in the late 1990’s. He loved the outdoors, his animals and tinkering with his farm equipment and lawn mowers. He loved hunting and spending time with relatives and friends. A humble man, George loved his Lord and liked to listen to gospel music, T. V. ministers and loved to talk about the Bible with Rev. Weston and anyone else who wanted to participate.

He is survived by 1 sister; Sylvia Daugherty of Booneville, Arkansas, 1 brother; Douglas Graham of Perry, OK and a multitude of nieces, nephews and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and 4 sisters.

Graveside services for George Henry Graham are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Friday, December 14, 2007 at the Grace Hill Cemetery with Reverend George Weston, a very good friend of Mr. Graham.

Interment will be in the Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home.
