The memorial service for Jim D. Hotson, 49, of Perry, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Alan R. Dunn will officiate.

Internment will be in Bohemian National Cemetery . Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.

He was born July 6, 1960, in Perry to Ernest G. Hotson and Phyllis M. Cermak Rudd and died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at his home.

He worked for the city of Perry, Charles Machine Works, E-Z Drill and in the oil fields.

Surviving are four children, Jason D. Hotson and Darreal Williams, both of Perry, Aron J. Hotson and Sheena D. Hotson, both of Hopkinsville, Ky.; his father, Ernest G. Hotson, of Covington; his mother, Phyllis M. Rudd of Perry; one stepdaughter, Anirta LeValley of Marland; one stepson, Eric Butler of Perry; one brother, Marvin D. Hotson of Perry; one sister, Brenda D. Zum Mallen of East Liberty, Ohio; two stepsisters, Rita of Enid and Jeanie of Pennsylvania; one stepbrother, John Earl of Enid; his companion, Nikki Williams of Perry; and seven grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077, to Shriner's Hospital.
