Enid News and Eagle (OK) - November 10, 2008

The graveside service for Max Lee Harman, 52, of Garber, will be 2 p.m. today, Nov. 11, 2008, in Union Cemetery, Billings. The Rev. Kent Ruebell will officiate. Arrangements are by Anderson - Burris Funeral Home .

He was born Aug. 3, 1956, in Enid to Bill and Karen Landes Harman and died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at his home in Garber. He grew up in Billings, graduating from Billings High School. He served in the National Guard and worked in the oil fields and trucking industries. He owned his own truck for about seven years. He most recently worked as a heavy equipment operator for Garfield County. He attended Billings Christian Church.

Surviving are his mother, Karen Harman of Billings; four sons, Dr. Aaron Harman of Broken Arrow, Heath Harman of Stillwater, Austin Harman of Perry, and Gunner Harman of Morrison; one brother, Mark Harman of Perry; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, one daughter and one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Billings Fire Department or Union Cemetery.
