Billings – Service for Wayne D. Brown, 91, who died Monday in a Blackwell hospital, will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the United Methodist Church at Billings. The Rev. Ronald W. Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery under direction of Anderson Funeral Home, Billings.

Brown was born July 28, 1890, in Augusta, Kansas, and moved with his parents to Edmond when still a child. On February 15, 1920, he and Ruth Kirk were married. They established their home on a farm near Nardin where he farmed for over 50 years, retiring in 1972 at which time he moved to Billings.

Brown was a member of the United Methodist Church since 1916. He was also stationed in France during World War I.

Survivors include one brother, Homer Brown, Billings; and four sisters, Mrs. Faye Murray, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Elma Kirk, Wheeler, Texas, Mrs. Eva Lackey, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Carl Harde, Aiken, South Carolina.
