ADELAIDE B. WILBANKS
"ADDIE"
Services: Sat., Oct 18, 2 p.m.

Graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park with viewing on
Friday the 17th, 4 to 8 p.m. Addie is survived by her daughters and their
spouses, Dean and Virginia Garrett, Bill and Brenda Hicks; two sisters, Nellie Smith
and Dorothy Starr; one brother, Lee Garner; 3 grandchildren; 5 great
grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was born August 6, 1921, in Porum, Oklahoma, but spent 60+ years in Kern
County, mainly in Bakersfield, where she married R. Cleo (Dutch) Wilbanks who
preceded her in death.

She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed nothing more than the company
of her family and friends. Her going will leave a big empty place in the lives
of those who loved her, but we know that she is now walking with her Lord in
a body released of pain and earthly cares.

The family would like to thank all of the kind and caring staff at Beverly
Manor who helped so much in her last days.
