JAMES MORRIS

Services: Mon., Mar. 8, 11 a.m.

Services are being held Monday, March 8, at 11:00 a.m., in St. John MBC, 1401 E. Brundage Lane, for James Morris, 71, who passed away March 6, 2004. The Rev. Joe Washington will officiate with interment to follow in Union Cemetery

Mr. Morris, a native of Muskogee, OK, had resided in Bakersfield for the past 30 years. He was last employed with the City of Bakersfield.

Survivors include his wife, Charlesetta B. Morris; daughter, Barbara Toles; sister, Willie Mae Buxton of Oklahoma City, OK, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the chapel. A special thanks to Optimal Hospice Care and to Ray Burris for the loving care they gave to James making his last days his best days at home.
