LUCY (MOM) MARONEY
9/7/1907 - 10/8/2004
Services for Lucy (Mom) Maroney will be held this Thursday, October 14, at 10:00 a.m., at Victory Chapel, 800 Airport Dr., Bakersfield, CA. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd.
She was born on September 7, 1907 in Warner, Oklahoma and went home to Jesus, October 8, 2004, at the age of 97.
Mom Maroney was preceded in death by her husband, John Maroney; two sons, Leroy and Vernon Ray and daughter, Edna White, along with several brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughter, Clara Spradlin and husband Jim; two sons, Johnny Maroney and wife, Carol and Richard Maroney; sister, Evelyn Mittman of Pennsylvania; also grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Mom Maroney was loved and respected by everyone. A godly woman who remains a constant witness of grace, commitment, and faithfulness to the kingdom of God. She loved her church and was a spiritual mother to all.
Visitation will be today, Wednesday, 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Mortuary.
