Henry D. Everett

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Jerry Coffman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Everett married Georgia Bridges Everett on July 5, 1952, in New Mexico and she preceded him in death in 2000. He moved to Amarillo in 1958 from Borger. He came from a Church of Christ background.

He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy on the USS LSM 330. He was a 50-year member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 196 in Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Dee Coleman.

Survivors include a son, Don Peyton of Amarillo; two daughters, Twinkey Moore and Amanda Jordan, both of Amarillo; three brothers, Teenie Everett, Frank Everett and Earl Everett, all of Fort Gibson, Okla.; a sister, June Demmitt of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice.
