Ruby Gibbs passed away in Bakersfield, CA, at the age of 72. She was born in Porum, Oklahoma, to Ruth and Tommie Weaver. The family moved to California in 1942.

Ruby was the most precious mother of 3 daughters, grandmother of 2 grandsons and one great granddaughter whom her life revolved around and who greatly loved her and will miss her dearly.

Ruby is survived by daughters Karyn Clevenger and husband, Al, Laura Baily of Bakersfield, and Ruth Navarrette of Granite Bay, CA; grandsons Richard Gibbs and wife Francine, John Moreno; and great granddaughter, Christina Gibbs, all from Bakersfield. In addition, Ruby is survived by one brother, Roy Weaver of Toledo, OR; two sisters, Mary Lee Kinslow of Porum, OK and Levada Staggs of Exeter, CA.

Viewing Wednesday, December 3, 4-7 pm, funeral service Thursday, December 4, 12:30 pm at Smith Family Chapel, 505 E. Pine St., Exeter, California. Interment will be at Exeter Public Cemetery
