November 18, 1935 ~ October 11, 2008

Funeral services for Kathryn Menees Welch, 73, of Muskogee will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers are Brian Ballew, Bob Welch, Joe Yoast, Pat O'Riley, Andrew Menees and Bobby Cox. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Kathryn Menees Welch was born November 18, 1935 in Muskogee, OK the daughter of Robert and Minnie Menees and died October 11, 2008 in Muskogee. She was a Muskogee resident all of her life.

She married George Welch July 7, 1957 in Muskogee.

She was a surgical secretary at the Veterans Medical Center. Founding and Charter Member of Delta Lambda Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha in 1969. She was a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson Conrad Michael J. Young Jr.

Survivors include her husband, George of the home; son, Robert Welch of Webbers Falls, OK; daughter, Valerie and husband Greg Martin of Muskogee, OK; granddaughters, Jacquelyn and husband Conrad Young, Cara Martin, Madison Welch, Harley Welch; great-granddaughter, Alexis Young; sisters, Pamela Ballew, Janie Norwood and husband Ben; brother, Gerald Menees and wife Nancy; numerous other relatives and friends.
