Eloise (Winford) Pitman

April 20, 1919 ~ February 21, 2006

Funeral services for Eloise Pitman, 86, of Muskogee, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Chandler Road Church of Christ with Jimie-Wray Mead officiating. Pallbearers are Gerad Kelly, Jimmy Pitman, Bret Owen, Brian Slader, Gerald Tackett and Bill Cavin. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pitman was born April 20, 1919 in Van Buren, Arkansas, the daughter of William Lewis Winford and Ula (Stevenson) Winford and died February 21, 2006 in Oklahoma City. She was a seamstress and a member of Chandler Road Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray Pitman, son, Ray Pitman, Jr.; grandson, Brian Keith, granddaughter, Kami Dian, two brothers and five sisters.

Survivors include her son, Jim Lee and wife Kaye Pitman of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Sue Coombs of Bixby, OK; four grandchildren, Dina Kelly and husband Gerad of Norman, OK; Leah Owen and husband Bret of Choctaw, OK; Jennifer Hall of Muskogee, OK; Jimmy Pitman of Oklahoma City, OK and five great-grandchildren, Lauren, Blake and Brendan Owen of Choctaw, OK, Katie Kelly of Norman, OK and Jake Hall of Muskogee, OK.
