Rosie Mary (Dorris) Standifird
August 29, 1947 ~ August 25, 2020

Rosie Mary Standifird, 72, of Porum, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020. She was born August 29, 1947 in Warner, Oklahoma to Clayton Mayberry and Cora Marie Dorris. She attended Warner Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1965.

Rosie married the love of her life, Jerry Wayne Standifird on November 3, 1967 in Warner. They shared more than 49 years of life, marriage, and memories when Jerry passed in 2017.

Rosie loved being a homemaker and raising her girls while traveling all over the world as a military family. She was extremely proud of her husband's service to his country.

She was a member of the "Red Hat Club" and enjoyed playing bunco. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with her friends, but most important was spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry (Pete) Standifird; parents, Clayton and Marie Dorris; in-laws, Jim and Alma Standifird; siblings, Otto Dorris, Hubert Dorris, and Ruby Jones; brothers-in-law, Allen Standifird and Clyde Standifird.

Rosie is survived by her daughters, Dana Crumpler and husband Chris, Kristy Bach and husband Chris; grandchildren, Nick, Karis, Kenzi, and Dakota; siblings, Albert Dorris and wife Pat, Nedra Bailey and husband Rick; brothers-in-law, Dave Standifird and wife Carle, and Billy Standifird; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family will greet friends from 2-5pm, Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.

A graveside service celebrating Rosie's life will be 11AM, Monday, August 31, 2020 at Fields Cemetery in Porum, Oklahoma with Mr. Blake Bailey officiating.

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 North York St, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com.
