David Riley Williams
April 12, 1940 ~ August 15, 2020

David Riley Williams, 80, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma passed on August 15, 2020. He was born on April 12, 1940 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Emmett Williams and Susan (Gritts) Williams. On July 31, 1967 he married Donna (Walters) Williams in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

David worked as a Machinist for many years, he worked at Muskogee Metal Fabricators and at track products. He also enjoyed many hobbies, such as making knives, watching grandchildren play sports, and going to the races.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Susan Williams; wife, Donna Williams; brother, Donnie Williams; Aunt, Peggy Lackey; Uncle, Bill Williams.

He is survived by his brother, Charles Williams of Muskogee, Oklahoma; son, Greg Williams and wife Kelli of Fort Gibson; daughter, Kim Martin and husband Mark of Fort Gibson; grandchildren, Seth Martin, Maddi Jo and Graci Williams of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of David's life will be 10:00am Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Fort Gibson First Baptist with Nate Capps officiating. Interment will follow at Citizens Cemetery with Terry Cook, Jon Cook, Danny Williams, Phillip Williams, Chris Williams, and Ronald Leach serving as Pallbearers.

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 North York St, Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Donna Jean (Walters) Williams

Donna Jean Williams, 75, Fort Gibson, passed from this life on December 4, 2013 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was born on August 8, 1938 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma to Earl Vernon Walters and Jewel Mae (Woods) Walters.

Donna graduated from Fort Gibson High School and spent most of her life as the Treasurer at Fort Gibson Public Schools. She was a member of Fort Gibson First Baptist Church. Donna enjoyed painting, sewing, fishing, watching her grandchildren play ball and watching her granddaughter Graci race.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Earldean Bull.

She is survived by her husband, David R. Williams; one son, Greg Williams and wife Kelli of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; one daughter, Kim Martin and husband Mark of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; one grandson Seth Martin of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Maddi Jo and Graci Williams of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; four sisters, Norma Upton and husband Ned of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rosemary Walters of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, Wanda Moore of Parkhill, Oklahoma, and Carol Cook and husband Butch of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; one brother-in-law, Charles Williams and wife Barbara of Muskogee, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Charlotte Williams of Parkersburg, West Virginia; and one Aunt, Peggy Lackey of Muskogee, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband, David R. Williams; one son, Greg Williams and wife Kelli of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; one daughter, Kim Martin and husband Mark of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; one grandson Seth Martin of Ft. Family will receive friends 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Fort Gibson First Baptist Church Youth Ministries.

A celebration of Donna's life will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Fort Gibson First Baptist Church with Brother Danny Gandara officiating. Burial will follow at Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson. Pallbearers will be Terry Moore, Ronald Leach, Charles Williams, David Upton, John Cook and Chris Williams.

Services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
