Glen Alan Oliver, 58 of Muskogee, formerly of Fort Gibson was born April 6, 1962 in Muskogee, OK to James Leon and Delores Ann (Peterson) Oliver and peacefully passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 in Tulsa with his family by his bedside.

Glen grew up in Fort Gibson where he attended Fort Gibson Public Schools. He continued his education in college. He married Michelle Metz in 1982 and had two beautiful children. Glen worked for himself for many years in the construction business and later at Muskogee Ready Mix, Inc. He entered into retirement in 2018. His hobbies included horse racing, golf, hunting, music, was an avid Nascar fan and was an excellent cook.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Treasa Kaye Oliver.

He is lovingly survived by his children, son, James Matthew Oliver of Oklahoma City; daughter, Megan Michelle Oliver of Fort Collins, CO; brother, Ronnie Oliver and wife Sue of Bella Vista, AR; extended family and many friends.

A visitation will be held 5PM-8PM Monday, June 8, 2020 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson.

Glen's graveside service will be 2PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the Citizens Cemetery Pavilion in Fort Gibson with Pastor Nate Capps officiating. Jim Steele, Gabe Mosteller, Daryl Gauntt, Steve Stotts, Larry Steele, Brad Clinkenbeard, Pete Peterson, Bill Stevenson and Micheal Kolmer serving as honorary casket bearers.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Glen's name to the American Diabetes Association @ www.diabetes.org/donate.

The family of Glen Alan Oliver has entrusted his care, services and burial to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home, Fort Gibson. 918-478-2555.
