Drowns in River

FT GIBSON -  AP-  The body of Billy Bolen Abel, 11 , who apparently stopped for a swim on his way to the barbershop, was found Sunday on a Grand River sand bar by a fisherman.  Missing since  Friday, he was last seen in a store near the river on his way to get a haircut.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Abel, Ft. Gibson .
