This cemetery was begun in 1901 when the town moved to it's present location.
After the Frisco RR came through, the town moved 4 miles east.
The old cemetery is located on the Penner Ranch west of Mill Creek. There is one stone in the new cemetery that is dated 1874 and this would indicate that this was probably a family cemetery in the area well before 1901. All other stones are dated after 1900.
