Carlton Ray "Carl" Hudson, of Elmore City, was born in Hennepin, Oklahoma on November 5, 1937. He passed to his heavenly home on December 18, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 81.

Carl was born to the late William Jackson and Lilly Lois (Redmond) Hudson.

Carl was survived by: his wife, Helen Hudson of the home; two sons, Lynn Hudson and wife, Robbie, of Elmore City and Jamie Hudson and wife, Kristi, of Ada; three daughters, Susie Williams of Elmore City, Patsy VanBuskirk and husband, Keith, of Elmore City; and Sheri Kay Courtney and husband, Stacy, of Ada; five sisters, Lora Williams, Patty Qualls, Ruth Edgar, Betty Hudson and Joyce Hudson; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremy Harrel and ten siblings, Floyd 'Buzz" Hudson, John Henry Hudson, Buster Hudson, J. D. Hudson, Ernest Hudson, Gene Hudson, Jesse Hudson, William Hudson, Jack Hudson and Essie Ball.

Carl grew up in Hennepin and lived most of his adult life in Elmore City. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, caring for his animals and spending time with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He spent a large portion of his life working as a Truck Driver, but retired from the Elmore City Water Department.

He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 3:30 pm at the Hennepin Cemetery officiated by Jimmy Balentine. Interment will be at Hennepin Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
