Leonard E. King, Sr. was born October 11, 1931, in Oklahoma, and passed away
on March 13, 2004 in Bakersfield. He had retired from the Post Office after
31 years as a mail carrier.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Barbara King; daughter, Alice Frenh;
daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Don Rhoads all of Bakersfield; son and
daughter-in-law, Leonard and Lora King who are stationed with the U.S. Navy in Italy. He
is also survived by 5 grandchldren, Roger Reed II, JoHanna Rhoads, Joshua
Rhoads, Michael French all of Bakersfield and Dustin Reed of Arkansas.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 17, from 4-8 p.m. at Autumn Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Autumn Oaks Funeral Home
