William "Bill" Kelley
1925 - 2002
William "Bill" Kelley, 76, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Wheeler Cemetery with the Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor of First United Methodist Church in McLean, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home.

Mr. Kelley was born in Thackerville, Okla., on Jan. 7, 1925. He married Joyce Fincher on June 24, 1950, at Reno, Nev. He had lived in Wheeler for the past 13 years, moving there from Chickasha, Okla. He was a vibrator operator for Geophysical Service Inc. until he retired. He was veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy.

Survivors include his wife; a son, William E. Kelley of New Iberia, La.; three daughters, Beverly Beel of Bakersfield, Calif., Cathy Diera of Wheeler and Betty Sue Benavidez of Erick, Okla.; a brother, James Kelley of San Jose, Calif.; three sisters, Betty Dasher of Livermore, Calif., Francis Krintzein of Riverbank, Calif., and Margaret Blackman of Modesto, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.
