The funeral for Tillie Buller, 86, was at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Herold Mennonite Church in Bessie. Pastor Keith Miller, of Enid First Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was at the Herold Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements were by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
She was born September 24, 1915 to David A. and Katherine (Theissen) Harms in Bessie, and went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at Golden Oaks Village.
Tillie attended Flynn School and Corn Bible Academy. On February 11, 1934, she married Leo Buller in Bessie. Their first home was five miles northeast of Cordell, where they lived for 15 years. After her father's death, they moved to the Harm's home place.
She was a member of the Herold Mennonite Church, active in Mission Society and Ladies' Chorus. In later years, they lived in Broken Bow and Idabel, then moved to Enid 18 years ago.
Tillie is survived by five children; Delila and Guy Henning of Fairfax; Ronald and Ruth Buller of Sheridan Lake, CO; Delphia and Jim Andrews of Wellington, KS; Viletta and Willis Schmidt of Enid; and Leota and Larry Harms of Newton, KS; 10 grandchildren; three step-children; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, to the Herold Mennonite Church Mission Fund or the mission support organization "Friends in Action"
