Jess "J. F." Hardin

MCLEAN - Jess "J.F." Hardin, 92, died Thursday, April 25, 2002.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Gulfport, Miss., with the Rev. Harold Payne, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.

Mr. Hardin was born in Hanna, Okla., and had lived in parts of Texas before moving to Gulfport where he lived about 20 years. He moved to McLean this past year. He worked as a rancher and oil field hand. He married Fletty Bell in January 1928 in Roy Springs.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1997.

Survivors include a son, Bob Hardin of McLean; a daughter, Mellie Bauler of Gulfport; a brother, Oscar Hardin of Waco; two sisters, Gladys Phillips of Morton and Ethel Feagin of Lubbock; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
