DV Belk, 75, passed at his home in Sobol, Oklahoma on October 24, 2017. He was born January 8, 1942 to Clayton C. and Mary (Sanford) Belk at Ringold, Oklahoma.

DV was a man that led a simple life. He enjoyed roping in his younger years and worked as a pickup man at 44 Bar Rodeo Company, Wing Rodeo Company and Star 53 Rodeo Company. DV liked to hunt and fish when the kids and his grandson was younger. DV was an avid PBR fan. What he enjoyed most is visiting with his former colleagues, from where he worked as a construction millwright for BE&K for several years, and his friends and family especially his grandson Tanner.

DV was preceded in death by his parents Clayton and Mary Belk; two brothers: Ray Belk and James Belk.

He is survived by his children: Todd Belk and his wife Donna of Bethel, Oklahoma, Jo Belk of Rattan, Oklahoma; three brothers: Junior Belk and wife Doris of California, Russell Belk and wife Beverly of California, Larry Belk and wife Sharon of Ringold, Oklahoma; grandson: Tanner Wilson; step-grandchildren: Garrett Axton, Terrance Axton and Jessica Denton; along with other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for DV will be held 2pm Friday October 27, 2017 at the Old Ringold Cemetery in Ringold, Oklahoma with Brother David Hardin officiating. Pallbearers will be Tanner Wilson, Todd Belk, Joker Stuart, Stoney Belk, Calvin Rose, Floyd Sanford and Larry Belk.
