Funeral services for Ruth Cox, 72, Broken Bow, Oklahoma were held at 2:00 PM Friday in the Nation Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow with Robert Peek officiating.
She died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paris, Texas.
Born July 20, 1912 in Amity, AR., she has been a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was a member of the North Side Church of Christ in Broken Bow.
Survivors include four sisters; Elaine Hale of Lakeview, OR, Marie O'Bluk of Caddo Gap, AR., Betty Theiss and Laverne Hobson, both of St. Louis, MO., and two brothers; James Waites Jr. of Glenwood, AR. and DeWitt Waites of Stutgart, AR.
Arrangements and burial in Holly Creek Cemetery were under the direction of Nation Funeral Home of Broken Bow, OK.
