Idabel resident Brian Keith Jones died Tuesday in Omaha, Neb., after a brief illness. He was 34.
He was born Feb. 7, 1965, in Ada.
He lived in Idabel for 13 years and was a member of Bypass Church of Christ.
He also was a member of the Texarkana RC Flying Club, Kiamichi Independent Bikers, Cedar Creek Golf Association and the Idabel Country Club. He was a past member of the Idabel Jaycees.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vern and Alice Mauldin; paternal grandmother, Eunice Glasgow,all of Shawnee; and father, Orville Jones, Roff.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Tanya Jones, of the home; daughter, Lacey Jones; son, Rian Jones; mother, Shirley Jones, McLoud; sister, Terri Crawford; niece, Carlea Crawford, Shawnee; nephew, Clint Crawford, Dallas, Texas; father- and mother-in-law, Mike and Pat Murphy, a sister-in-law, Dayla Bolt, brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Faith Murphy, all of Idabel; special lifelong friend, Rob Alveratti, Roff; and several other relatives and friends across the United States.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at Bypass Church of Christ in Idabel with Steve Powers, Leon Green and E.E. Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Denison Cemetery under the direction of Jim Norwood Funeral Service, Idabel.
Memorials may be made to UNMC Liver Transplant Fund at First State Bank, Idabel.
